Initial QuickBooks Setup
We will install QuickBooks software on the machines you specify. We will record the beginning account balances from a balance sheet you provide. We will set up your QuickBooks preferences and user IDs to reflect your current accounting requirements. We will enter company, customer, vendor, and employee data from information you provide us. We will enter sales items and sales tax information based on information you provide us. If applicable, we will enter inventory items and quantities on hand as provided by you. Also, we will enter payroll items and taxes. We will enter all accounting transactions and reconcile the bank accounts.  These will be entered from original documents and ledgers you provide.

Periodic QuickBooks Services
On a weekly or monthly basis, we will enter all accounting transactions into your QuickBooks company file. This includes checks, deposits, and other transactions affecting the checking account. It also includes estimates, invoices, credit memos, and all customer transactions. It includes vendor transactions: bills, item receipts, checks, credit card charges, and purchase orders. We will perform the bank reconciliation for the checking account. We will also enter adjusting journal entries as necessary, including depreciation.

On a semi-monthly basis, we will prepare payroll for your employees. We will prepare and phone in the accrued payroll liabilities payment using EFTPS. On a quarterly basis, we will prepare the federal unemployment tax deposit, and we will prepare and file the federal payroll tax return and state unemployment return. On an annual basis, we will prepare the federal unemployment tax return, employee W-2s, W-3 transmittal, and vendor 1099s.  We will set up new customers, employees, and vendors on an as needed basis. All of the above transactions will be entered from original documents and ledgers you provide.

QuickBooks Training
We will present a series of programs called QuickBooks Training.  The program will be customized to meet the needs of the group being trained. The content will include company set up; customer, vendor, employee, and item set up; writing checks and paying bills; invoicing and receiving payments; inventory; payroll; and file backup.

Accounting Tune-up
We will review your accounts on the balance sheet and income statement, your transactions for the year, and your existing QuickBooks setup. We will balance the general ledger to subsidiary records. We will make suggestions for improvement in areas where we see errors and improper use of QuickBooks. We will also identify areas where you may not be utilizing QuickBooks software to the fullest. These include customizing reports and forms, changing QuickBooks preferences, and adding features such as class tracking. We will answer your questions and provide personalized training as needed.

QuickBooks Diagnostics Assessment
We will review the data in the QuickBooks file and supporting documents. After our review, we will prepare a recommendation for each issue. These recommendations may include correcting journal entries, suggested training, or changes in QuickBooks lists, preferences, or other features. Upon your approval, we will then execute and implement the above recommendations. All data and supporting documents will be provided by you.
